We definitely did our research and based off our results we learned making potpourri can be complicated. Every site we checked either required drying for weeks, boiling in water, and for some websites using a microwave. Potpourri should not be this complex people! We have created our own easy and fast way to make potpourri without going to a store to buy special ingredients.
It's so simple it doesn't even need a photo tutorial. Here's how to do it!

All you need is:
A mason jar with two punched holes in the lid (or any container that you can punch through)
A mix of spices and flowers (from your spice cabinet and garden)
We made our own special blend that we would like to share with you. We call it "Lavender Forest."
5 sprigs of lavender (we had access to English)
3-4 small sprigs of rosemary
1 cinnamon stick
6-7 lemon leaves (if you have a small fruit tree in your garden that works too)
A sprinkle of basil
A sprinkle of thyme
Make sure to wash all of your plants from your garden incase there are some stray critters!

That's it, not much of a fuss at all is it? That's what we thought you would think. The best part about this potpourri is that if you are sick of the scent you have, you can always change it out with anything anytime! Enjoy! :)
